If Deanna was on death row her last meal would be: Bernie O's pizza, Barrio, an ice cold bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, an array of Ben & Jerry's, tons of dark chocolate, coffee with Calder Dairy half & half.
As a registered nurse for over 15 years, Deanna has been aware of how your health affects your life. She found yoga after the birth of her second son in 2010. This beautiful, centering, calming, mindful, meditative practice had such a profound effect on her that she wanted to immerse herself in all things yoga. In 2012 she completed her first yoga teacher training with 200+ hours of study. In 2014 she completed her second training and became RYT-200 certified through Jonny Kest Lifepower Yoga Teacher Training. Deanna is CPR/AED certified. She has been a part of the HALE community since March 2014. She lives in Plymouth with her husband, Ben, and her two boys, Nolan and Nicholas. She loves being a part of this great downtown community and feels incredible to be amongst the women of HALE!
I can't say enough good things about HALE. Everyone is so supportive and I have never felt "less" when people are lifting more than me. It's a low-key atmosphere that pushes you to achieve and do your personal best. I've never been able to stick with a gym routine, but I never miss my sessions here.
HALE is great! It's one of those workouts you're excited for and dread at the same time (in a good way!). The group atmosphere is small enough to avoid intimidation but large enough to form a quick bond with the other ladies you're there with. Kurt is a very knowledgeable and laid back trainer. He knows how to push you more than you ever would yourself, but he's careful to watch your form and listen to you to avoid injury. I go into each session knowing I'm going to get my butt kicked but that's what most of us need! You definitely feel like a true rockstar when you leave!
I had a great first workout this morning at HALE, and am looking forward to many more. It was fun and definitely worked my muscles. Kurt and the women in the group were friendly, fun and welcoming. Thank You!
I love that I'm getting stronger and leaner. Thanks to Kurt at Hale for making me work hard.
HALE is an amazing place for women in every stage of fitness! The small sized sessions allow for personalized training, while still enjoying the company of other determined and enlightening women. In shape, out of shape, pregnant, post pregnant, post operative (in my case), young, not as young, it really doesn't matter! I've never seen anyone leave without a smile and a little chalk dust. Try it!
Hale Strength and Shape is the best workout ever, challenging, fun ,exciting all wrap up in one.
I heart Hale! Super fun and challenging - Exercises I would never do on my own - Kurt pushes you to be your best - Addicting workouts - Love the group atmosphere - I leave Hale feeling like an athlete!
HALE Strength and Shape is the best workout I've ever had! Only 6 classes and I already see a difference in my body. Before strength training I was stuck on being skinny now I'm stuck on being fit and strong, I'm amazed at how much I can actually lift and I would have NEVER done it on my own. Thank You ♡
This was so much fun... Always love trying something new. I can't wait to go again.
Hale Strength and Shape is the absolute best workout experience ever! You are strong, you are invincible, you will conquer your fears and feel the empowerment that comes only from strength training. Try it! :)
Such an amazing barre class with a wonderful teacher Kristina!!! I loved every minute of it and was sad it ended, an hour flew by! Can't wait to come back soon!!!
